Blair Bielawski has an extensive and varied background in education. He holds a BA from Carroll University (Waukesha, WI, 1981) and an MA from the University of Wisconsin (Madison, WI, 1984). He taught for six years at the high school level and four years at the college level.
Blair is currently an author and part of the advisory group for Lorenz Educational Press along with being a project manager for new publications for the Teaching and Learning Company and Milliken. Previously, he was the Creative Director for Heritage Music Press, a division of The Lorenz Corporation. The Lorenz Corporation is a print music publisher specializing in publications for the educational and sacred markets. Before joining Lorenz, he was a member of the Hal Leonard editorial and arranging staff for 17 years, working on all aspects of the music catalog. An accomplished composer and arranger, Blair has over 70 compositions and arrangements in print, as well as many commissions for college, high school and middle school groups throughout the United States.
