Patricia O’Brien has taught more than 30 years as an elementary school teacher. After teaching full time, she began substituting in classrooms and writing units for teachers to use with their students. The units include background information, suggestions for enriching activities and opportunities to share creatively. When Patricia isn’t writing, she’s sharing her love of the outdoors with third and fourth graders at a nature preserve.
