Dr. Jeri A. Carroll is a professor of early childhood education at Wichita State University. Her experience includes several years of teaching young children in public and university lab schools. She has authored and coauthored more than 30 professional books and is a frequent lecturer and presenter of early education workshops for instructors, teachers-in-training, caregivers and parents. Dr. Carroll's book Character Building was the winner of a 1997 Learning® Magazine Teacher's Choice Award.
