Dana McMillan

Dana McMillan
Dana McMillan, a former early childhood teacher, is presently Director of the Early Childhood Programs at the celebrated Learning Exchange located in Kansas City, Missouri. She has a bachelor of arts degree in elementary and early childhood education and a master of arts degree in elementary education from the University of Missouri. In her position Dana is responsible for providing more than 65 training programs per year for over 7000 early childhood educators. She has written 30 activity and resource books and a complete early childhood creativity curriculum. She has visited Trowbridge, England, and conducted an extensive study of the British Infant Schools. When Dana isn't busy conducting educational seminars and workshops, she enjoys shopping, sports and gardening. Dana's book Time for Assessment was the winner of an Early Childhood News Directors' Choice Award.
